Cookies
This page explains what cookies we use, why, and how you can accept or reject optional ones.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
Essential cookies remember your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Analytics cookies, used only if you accept, help us see aggregate visit patterns. Rejecting optional cookies does not block browsing, contact forms, or reading engagement pages.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| dataworkpath_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the banner | 1 year | Data Work Path (first party) |
| dw_session | Maintains basic site session integrity for form tokens where used | Session | Data Work Path (first party) |
| _dw_analytics | Counts page views in aggregate when analytics accepted | 6 months | Data Work Path (first party) |
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. You can clear stored choices in your browser settings, which will show the banner again on a later visit. Browser controls can also block cookies entirely; essential functions such as reading pages remain available, though preference memory may reset.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may be requested from Google Fonts servers; those requests can involve technical network logs outside our first-party cookie table. We do not load third-party advertising cookies.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics cookies means we will not set _dw_analytics. Site content, engagement descriptions, and the contact form continue to work. Clearing all cookies removes your stored consent preference.
